Tomorrow's Aegean flight from Athens is again showing as an A321, SX-DGP :good:

Subject to change.

Aegean A321 SX-DGP due to arrive in the next 15mins, great to see another aircraft upgrade.

VP-CAQ B737-200 corporate jet landed just after 1340 this lunchtime.
Don't know how long it is staying, but you don't see many classic 73s anymore.Might be a last chance to see one. :s_thumbsup

I'd love to have seen that, like you say they're very rare these days.

Air Europa 738 EC-LYR was in earlier bringing Barcelona FC to the UK, also Ireland Air Corps IRL253 CN253 recently arrived, not sure of the etd.

Another Air Europa 738 was in this morning to collect Barcelona FC.

For those interested AN12 EW-394TI is due to depart for Stockholm at 18:00 tonight, it's always nice watching those things. Subject to change/delay of course.

*EDIT* RAF Lockheed Hercules C.4 ZH869 is due in anytime now, not sure of an ETD.

One possible movement to look out for soon.

MAEL BHX has the contract to fit out the TCS B757's, which are normally in Thomson colours.

At Air Livery MAN, TCS have got hold of an ex-Safi Airways B757, which is currently being painted in an all black private scheme, and the renders look pretty sweet.

If MAEL BHX does have the contract for this B757, one can only assume its heading your way once it emerges from the hangar up at MAN.

Ryanair 738 EI-EMK appears BHX based at the moment, it carries the 'National Express - UK Airport Transfers' logo if anyone wants a picture.

VT-ANQ is their newest 787 isn't it?

It's taking an even more northern track than usual tonight flying over Denmark then turning left over Sunderland and heading down over the Yorkshire Dales.

For the next couple of weeks Germanwings should be upgrading their Sunday evening Berlin flight from an A319 to an A320.

Subject to change of course.

And what a "strange" decision that is, when they are axing BHX at the end of the month. LOL

Flybe, you go and show them germans how to operate a route.

Have seen via various sources that the Red Arrows will be overflying BHX sometime this afternoon (have seen 1320 & 1420 hrs mentioned).

Apparently due to overfly BHX from the NE.

What a day not to have my camera with me :s_sad

14:20 on the dot, I didn't have my camera either so only managed a poor quality phone picture from works car park. Someone got a clip anyway 🙂

I believe it was part of a new model launch at JLR, there has been a couple of helicopters land on the site today.

There is another video HERE.

I was at the Harbourside in the centre of Bristol around 1430 today and the Red Arrows flew straight over the top heading south west.

According to their web page they were at Cromer, Norfolk this morning and were due at Weymouth, Dorset at 1730 today. They were heading to Exeter Airport for rest and refuelling prior to the Weymouth display.

This was the NOTAMS from earlier so I guess from Solihull they routed down over the Cotswolds, over Bristol and south west to Exeter.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
