Massive subsidy = massive losses..Understood, I think the OP was just using a turn of phrase and didn’t really mean anything by it in terms of timelines.
Ros Jones reckons it’ll be open earlier for non passenger flights, not sure what they have planned but perhaps they intend to open it next year and then try get on the airlines planning agendas for 2026. Whether any airlines will want to invest in something that’s already closed is another matter entirely, massive subsidy will be required regardless!
It beggars belief they would go straight back down the same path that failed last time, particularly when the aviation industry is more challenging now than it was when DSA first opened.
