I know Berlin & Milan are more likely but is Athens & Lisbon a possibility?
Lisbon - already announced from Doncaster so it’s a very big possibility.

Athens - I believe Aegean struggled to get good loads outside of July-August, even with onward connections to other Greek destinations, so I think it might be better served by more of a household name such as easyJet.

I think Berlin might actually be less likely than the others since Wizz don’t fly to the UK from there yet and Germany‘s “green taxes“ are off-putting for low cost airlines right now.

As far as Eastern Europe is concerned, I think the lowest hanging fruit is Chisinau, Kosice, Lublin and Varna which already have flights to DSA and/or LPL. Hopefully we could get Poznań back at some point too.

I see wizzair & going to introduce fit to fly covid tests by post to your home for £85,
Very good on Wizzs part, I do think that BHX need to take a look at the testing introduced by LGW and LHR for arriving and departing passengers and get a similar set up in place at BHX to aid the airports recovery. I hope that the airport have something in the pipeline so that BHX won't be left behind yet again. One flaw with the LGW testing is that they only do the test if you're in a car which isn't practical for passengers arriving at the airport by train or another form of transport. I think any potential testing at BHX should be available for foot passengers aswell.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
