If wizz wanted to build a cheap fares hub and spoke system I’m sure they are more than capable of doing so. They clearly haven’t got much interest in doing so.

While it would be good to see Wizz Air offer more destinations from BHX, i can't see a great deal happening without a base being set up.
This would then probably include some sunshine routes. The danger then is that they could deter any EasyJet expansion and dilute the passengers for Jet2 and TUI etc.
A tricky one to resolve!.

Interesting…..Ryanair have just announced flights from Tirana to EDI, STN and MAN so along with the Wizz flights to BHX, LPL and EDI that’s quite a lot of seats to fill on a route that I think was previously only served from LPL before.

I have a suspicion that the much promoted "safe routes" for migrants have been made possible to avoid the small boats. Cheap flights are cheaper than paying traffickers etc., with an easier claim for entry to UK.
