I have had a speed read of this article and it is obviously for the wonderful Canadian souls and to entice them into vacationing in Europe.
They appear to be the 'TUI' of Canada and are either attempting to stretch the fleet ( the A310 is seriously likely to be grounded due to age and maintenance costs ) to meet or encourage demand of services.
I read elsewhere on this forum that 'Did they ever operate twice weekly ' etc...not sure but apologies if I am incorrect.
I do recall, personally, seeing CPAIR and Wardair operate ex BHX together in the summer's of my youth both being to Toronto. Both Widebody capacity ,
B747 Classic and DC-10-30 and occasionally A310.
Interesting times thus there was the market for two operations serving BHX.
Can Rouge and or Westjet help generate or support BHX demand or perhaps offer a year round service? Or do we need an Asian airline to tap into North America via BHX?
