So would the timetable suggest that the BHX base is only seasonal (until 27th October) or is it that the timings/frequencies may change for winter and haven't been published?

I'd guess the latter.

Just read quite a large article in The Times business section about Primera's new US flights from Stansted.
Not a mention of BHX! Not a good start.Looks like there is a lot of work to be done.
Probably read an article by travel journalist Alex Macheras who mentioned the new services from Stansted, Paris and Birmingham.

When this was regurgitated by the Daily Mail, all mention of Birmingham was dropped and the comment was added regarding Primera becoming the "Norwegian" of Stansted.

I know it's early days but I wonder if Primera could look at some sort of tie up with Flybe for connections.

There are quite a few mid afternoon arrivals that could be potential contenders for passengers heading on to the USA. Inbound misses the first wave of Flybe departures but the second wave starts just before lunchtime so there could be a few options, albeit with longer connection times, especially Boston which gets in an hour earlier.

I wouldn't expect huge masses of connections but even a few each day would only help and if the price is right you never know.

"We are launching six A321neos in 2018," said Hrafn Thorgeirsson, CEO of Primera Travel Group.

So two each for BHX, STN and CDG leaves no room for a fourth route next summer, unless either STN and/or CDG do not see Toronto, in which case there would be some spare days for a third aircraft (I notice that Boston is 3x weekly from Paris).

If it is to be a winter route then it may well be on the A321LR which brings more options within reach.

Places like Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are a big draw for American tourists. They love our old buildings and history.

Not just Americans, I live in Warwick 2 minutes from the Castle and everyday the town is packed with Far East travellers mainly Chinese and Japanese what's interesting is the amount of coaches with London and Northern address on

Midlands Today gave the news a whole 21 seconds
Don't forget that when they when they gave more time to United pulling out they had library film of a United
aircraft at BHX and threw in an AA aircraft for good measure to fill it out..They do like to send their reporters out on location i.e the canal by their studios,to fill the time.In Primera's case no archive film or suitable outside location
as they had probably been told to move on when reporting United from the verge of the A45.
Didn't see the programme but presume there was a good story about a Midlands hospital in crisis to fill the time?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
