But isn't the PIA / Jordan Aviation an established service with existing slots?

Looking at the daily movements that @Scottie Dog provides, MAN has been handling over the 475 movements that they’re planning on capping movements at - it has been 500-550 depending on the day recently.

Can’t see how some existing flights won’t affected in that case?

Interesting that LGW's reduction from about 900 daily movements to 850 is an average of 5.6%.
Using the 550 figure for MAN (it's been higher on odd days), that would be a 14% reduction.
What happens after 8th July review is perhaps less clear.

Can I suggest that this discussion is more suitable to the Manchester Movements & Logs pages which can be found on the following link:

I'll post a brief resume of June movement numbers shortly.

Out of interest…what is the Pier C satellite lounge?
I assume this means pier C is with us for the long term…

So if they are amending the infrastructure under the satellite does this mean the satellite is staying for a prolonged period? It was earmarked for demolition.

There was doubt about the actual pier being demolished, but the circular satellite was almost certainly going to be demolished.
I beg to differ. There was doubt if all the gates would remain in use in the satellite but by summer 2018 it was uncertain if the satellite would go.

All the renders I’ve seen, plus the general (internal) chatter had signified the end of the satellite. C-pier did appear to remain in some of the later renders, in some form, but as said, all the renders J saw had the actual satellite gone.

I may well be wrong but I seem to recall the plan at one stage included the provision of 2 new stands at the southern end of T2 as part of the TP, which would have meant at least part if not all Pier C going. At a different time, wasn't there plans in the TP for 4 piers on T2? I imagine a 4th pier could have impinged on T1 Pier C anyway but frankly I've lost track of all the changes and their sequence.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
