Yes Wednesday January 8th G-LSAI will operate the last ever jet2 Boeing 757-200 flight.
It will depart Manchester at 10:55 local heading out to St Athan. it will taxi past viewing park before take-off.. After take-off it will then circle back and perform a fly past.
After leaving Manchester for the final time she will then transit over to Leeds/Bradford (Jet2 HQ) and perform a fly past along runway 32 before finally routing down to St Athan.
Is this still happening and still planned for 10.55 depature from MAN?
Dont think I recall a fly passed since the the BA 747 with its belly scraping the runway in 84

BA did one with a Viscount on the last day of their Ops at LBA. Cloud was low though so couldnt see much.

Here’s the official confirmation for Jamie at LBA ATC, regards the cancellation of tomorrows planned retirement flight of Jet2’s Boeing 757-200, G-LSAI

Jamie ATC
In the spirit of wanting to ensure you all remain safe in the current weather, please note, that there will not be a Jet2 757 visiting LBA tomorrow.

That’s for those that were thinking of a trip up to see.

We’re as disappointed as you are but Jet2 have rightly made the decision with safety as their key consideration.

From my source he says the flight hasn’t been rescheduled as yet.. So it still could go ahead on a future date.

Ps watch out for some Airbus A321Neo action during January.

So has the flight to St Athan been cancelled then? Or is it still going but the LBA fly past is cancelled? Your post would suggest that the St Athan ferry flight is postponed?

It’s still definitely leaving MAN for DGX tomorrow as flight plan is in system for 10;55 departure as “EXS75AI”

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
