Ah may be then, they were in the sun when I saw them recognised the spitfire by the wing shape the other aircraft was a bit blurred, as the engine noise was the same for both aircraft that made me guess - and I had my hearing aids in as well!!

No, the money is to pay for a feasibility study. You can't buy an airport for £3.1m!

Definition of insanity-“doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. Doubly insane because they’re wasting public money trying to flog a dead horse. Apparently the Council are hoping to secure a long term lease but failing that will make a compulsory purchase order. If only Leeds City Council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority could show more support for LBA to make it even more successful.

Perhaps DSA have Flybe V3 lined up as the airline. Oh wait, what was that about the same thing and different results! I dont think LBA has much to worry about in all this especially as LBA has proved, and will continue to prove, it is successful

And to support my own post above re LBA success you only have to look at recent posts re EasyJet, Wizz, KLM and Jet2 as proof of this. Wait until the new operators start arriving too

It may seem a silly question but has someone stolen the KLM thread? Tried to post the news that KLM are back to 4 per day from 28th August and the thread is nowhere to be seen having checked right the way through the list?

I don't know if I have missed it, but I haven't read that KLM are now 3 daily at LBA. The KL1546 rotation resumed on the 13th Feb
