Least we now have some kind of confirmation that TUi are axing the LBA summer base.
Shame to see it go, but that's Tui/Thomson/ Britannia for you!

So if this stays the same that's a 1hr 35 minute turnaround, - is that likely to be a B738 or something bigger? At least if Tui are W legging from Manchester there's a slim chance (ok, very slim) of something different to a B738 arriving. At the moment it seems like it's Jet2 B738 followed by Ryanair B738 followed by A N other B738. Would be good to get something differentCorfu is now reduced to 1x weekly for summer 2019 operating on Fridays with TUi's own metal using a w-leg of a Manchester based aircraft to new revised schedule.
TOM3551 = CFU 12:30 - LBA 14:00 / TOM3550 = LBA 15:35 - CFU 21:00
Freebird, Bh Air and Nouvelair will use A320's as well as BA's daily A319 service so we won't just see 737-800's from the tour operators but I agree would be great to see something else.So if this stays the same that's a 1hr 35 minute turnaround, - is that likely to be a B738 or something bigger? Problem is that airlines may see that they are withdrawing as a sign that LBA isn't profitable with Jet2 so strong there.With all the negative comments about TOM/TUI at LBA, which have been going on for years as far as I can see, isn't it a good thing that they have vacated LBA and left the door open for a replacement to come in who may just provide an improved level of service to LBA passengers?
It's looks like it'll either be a 757 or 737 it's not marked as a Dreamliner on the flights website.So if this stays the same that's a 1hr 35 minute turnaround, - is that likely to be a B738 or something bigger? Will the B767's still be around next year?Problem is that airlines may see that they are withdrawing as a sign that LBA isn't profitable with Jet2 so strong there.
