Excellent, Jerry. Which runway did you use at CWL? I often see inbounds for CWL south of Bristol and in the Weston-super-Mare area but not so many outbounds.
The rought diamond shape at the top left of the airport complex is the 'South Side' which is the home to general aviation, air taxis and private charters, the FBO Centreline including its lounges for private charters and shuttles, the new admin building, new fire station, as well as the very large Silver Zone surface car park and its reception building.
The opposite side 'North Side' is the main airport complex where all scheduled and public charter traffic is handled.
Towards the top of the picture on the left can be seen the outline of Blagdon Lake below the Mendip village of Blagdon. This is a 120 year-old reservoir constructed to provide water for Bristol and its environs. Shortly afterwards you would have passed Chew Valley Lake also on your right, an even larger reservoir dating from the 1950s also used to provide water for Bristol and its region, together with Cheddar Reservoir on the south side of the Mendips and Barrow Gurney reservoirs along the A38 between the airport and the city. Chew Valley and Blagdon are also two internationally-known fishing lakes. Interesting that much of Bristol's water is sourced from the south of the city not so many miles from the airport.
When do you return, Jerry? Is it with KLM to CWL?

I've just read your post in the CWL forum which answers my last question.
