CDG not on sale for S25 but is for W25 so could imply other W patterns form the continent.

Ryanair have a large amount, they're creeping up on Jet2. even with x3 based, it shows how big FR are at LBA with non based flying.

Wizz would be great to see additional flying. One I'm hoping for.

Also shows you how big LBA is for the EI network. Good to see.
I have been thinking much the same. They are much bigger than what we give them credit for. A Saturday through the summer is a perfect example with several on the deck together.

The initial Slot coordination report for LBA summer 2025 has just been uploaded onto the ACL website.

This isn’t the final version, so the could be more changes ahead before March 30th 2025

Anyway so for the First week of August 2025 - The are 930 weekly slots already applied for which works out at 465 weekly rotations as follows.

1x weekly - Balkan Holidays Air (BGH)
2x weekly - Aurginy (AUR)
3x weekly - Ryanair UK (RUK)
4x weekly - EasyJet UK (EZY)
4x weekly - Sun Express (XQ)
4x weekly - Freebird (FH)
6x weekly - EasyJet EU (EJU)
6x weekly - TUi Airways (TOM)
7x weekly - Wizz Air (W6)
7x weekly - Wizz Air Malta (W4)
21x weekly - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL)
44x weekly - Emerald Airlines (EA)
149x weekly - Ryanair (FR)
207x weekly - Jet2.com (LS)
Freebird holding x4 weekly when DLM is only on sale for x2. Hopefully / potential increase. Looking at the times, one ex LBA 2000 is shocking.

I think the airport expected Paris to be extended into Summer if bookings were up to scratch, so theres still time.

Those are the kind of departures that will help with overcrowding, though. And offer a different option - for example some families prefer to travel on an evening (little ones falling asleep).
The more variety the better!

Don’t suppose anybody knows if the the 207x weekly Jet2 slots includes the extra flights announced today?

That might not necessarily be the case with other parts of the terminal then being refurbished reducing capacity temporarily.
Dont forget that when it opens, the entire upper floor of the extension is departures providing substantially more space and seating. Yes, some parts of the existing terminal will be behind screens being refurbished (the current lounges for example) but whatever space is lost should be more than compensated for in the extension, providing a slight increase.

That's a lot of flights to one destination from LBA…I reckon quite a lot of seats will be sold pretty cheap.

I was thinking this however don’t think it’ll affect prices. All 4 airlines operate for different reasons with the only real competition between easy/Jet2. I believe TUI use PMI to feed their cruises with any holidays at PMI a bonus. Ryanair are seat only market so will just stimulate that.

Like previously mentioned November does generally tend to be the month where new routes are announced, once December arrives folk just have xmas on their minds, but yes i expect something from FR.
I'm amazed they haven't brought Vilnius back, given the loads they had previously.there. I know they pulled the plug after a fall out with the airport operator, but that's a couple of years ago. If not, it's one for Wizz to look at given they have a base there.

Hmmm. I'm less sure that something will be coming from the Tartan Army than perhaps at this time last week.

There is still some growth to come from Ryanair, I believe. Likes of getting WRO, WMI, OPO and ZAD up from two to three per week each + some extra flying to LIG and PGF and GRO going to 6 x weekly. Most of this is extra away-based flying or a re-shuffle of what the based aircraft fly. There might also be one new-to-Ryanair route : they can't get Black Lace out of retirement to sing the theme tune and star in the launch show though. Would make a welcome change from Jess Glynne, although those singing that theme tune won't like the new-to-Ryanair route if it happens.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
