Depends who I am picking up.

Sometimes I use the free 20 mins at the station and they get the Air Rail Link across.

Today I was in car park 1 which was £4.70 for up to an hour. Got to time it right though as it goes up pretty steeply after that.

First post peeps,

Noticed that Bangkok Airways and TAP are advertising on the pitch side digital boards at the Hawthorns (WBA FC) this last couple of games, along with the usual Air India.

With the Hawthorns being in prime BHX catchment area , could these adverts be building brand awareness for future BHX op's?

Welcome MJH :)

TAP, well lets hope so. Only a year and a half ago Birmingham was of no interest, things do change though so lets hope.

Bangkok Airways seems a strange one to advertise at the Baggies ground. The Air Fleets website suggests that their largest aircraft is an A320, not sure I'd fancy that from Birmingham

Yes, this was my first thought of Bangkok Airways! They might do some sort of BHX-GYD-DEL-DAC-BKK routing  otherwise I do see TAP as a very likely candidate, can't see them doing advertising in Birmingham for nothing.

They will be advertising to the mega millions who watch premier league football around the world.
The same adverts are probably displayed at every premier league ground.

I'm seeing lots of advertising from Eurowings at bus stops around the city.

Possibly promoting the extra capacity with the switch to A320's.

Are KLM running a TV ad campaign at the moment in the Midlands? They are in the Yorkshire region jointly for LBA and HUY.

These are phone pictures so please excuse (I didn't realise the first one was so blurry :().

Turkish Airlines check in area with the digital advertising. There are similar adverts in the arrivals area which is dominated by Turkish.

Great to see some branding in the Qatar Airways check in area. It adds a bit of competition for the Emirates area behind.

Considering that it starts in two weeks I think it's a little disappointing that there has been no advertising from BHX for Cobalt Air. I've seen nothing at all on their social media.

Likewise Fly One haven't had a mention, although this one may appeal more to the inbound market with the bulk of the advertising done at the Moldova end.

It's also been two weeks since Phuket, Goa and La Romana became bookable and I've seen no mention of any of them. Maybe Thomson haven't totally finalised W17/18 yet and it will come in due course.

Today I've seen BHX promoting Toronto as a winter getaway across various social media platforms today - strange given that as it stands YYZ is only available as a summer destination direct.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
