Whilst I agree it's too early to know for sure re next summer, do we have Xmas and NY flights on sale as usual? If we are not on the drop down at 2 months out, that in itself is concerning.

If the route is going then I can see people's reaction being GRrrrrrrrrrr!

No, but that nothing new as we haven’t had Xmas &!New Years flights for a few years now either.

According to the latest CAA data (July 2025) it carried about 800 passengers across the whole month. If that is peak season, then its almost relegated to the status of rounding error
That might not sound a lot in the grand scheme of things, but in July there were 5 Wednesdays and 4 Saturdays, so a total of 18 Aurigny movements into and out of LBA. That averages out at 44.4 passengers per flight, which I suspect on an ATR72 is more than enough to make some money especially if ticket prices aren't particularly low.

Same, however still not on the drop down on the website.. hopefully this will be rectified if it hasn't been dropped.
Yes, weird if its on sale, because you can't actually book.
No sign of LBA in the flights schedule although its still showing the information about Leeds as a destination. Still listed on LBAs website too, although they're rarely quick to make amendments.

It's there but looks like a glitch with the website with LBA not appearing on the home page drop-down menu. If you ask for Guernsey-Bristol availability (or whatever you choose) on the home page then proceed to the second page, a "reselect" option comes up and LBA is included there, and the flights appear when you proceed.

They won't sell many tickets on that basis, so hopefully will realise the web problem pretty quickly and fix it! But indeed, looks to be retained 2 x weekly Wed/Sat.

The above is good news because:
AUR apparently needing a further bailout
AUR adding a fuel surcharge due to rising costs
Their BRS and EXT services will be combined
LCY expected to be reduced due increased LON competition

So LBA ultimately unscathed

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
