British Airways A319 Reg G-EUOB by Aviador, hosted on Forums4airports.com

Had a trip up to the airport with the camera but the weather wasn't really good enough for photos. Took this before giving up and heading home. :s_sorry

Nice pic's channex 757

Do you know which 738 is at LBA? There's one in holidays colours in the line up photo you took.

Excellent pics.

Incidentally, I think the greenery in the first pic adds to its quality. It gives an impression of someone outside sneaking a look at an aircraft taking off. Whether this was intentional or not I like it - it gives added character to the pic.

I agree TheLokelYokel for the same reason. The aircraft is in focus suggesting it is intentional. Nice pictures Jordan .

@ Jordan-34092 - Was the above Jet2 738 picture from 30th June taken at around 4pm? If so, then I was jetting off on my Holiday to Malaga!

I aim to be heading up some time so will attempt at trying to get some shots whilst the sun is around!

I have just posted a few more photos taken at LBA, including one of the Business Air Boeing 767 -300 that we were treated to on the Jeddah flights last year.

Thanks Heather, it's nice to see some new pictures in the LBA gallery, the Birmingham photo gallery is forging well ahead of us now!

For anyone interested in photos, I have been to have a play with my newly acquired DSLR camera today and have posted some photos taken this afternoon at LBA on the LBA Photography thread. The usual stuff sadly, but it includes the KLM E190 that operated this lunchtimes AMS flight, both Monarch A320's and the BA A319

Some great pictures there White Heather! I see you're getting used to your new toy. I'll post them onto here if you like if you're not sure how to do it?

Yes OK Aviador. It takes me all my time to post them where I posted them! For a first attempt at aviation photography with a new camera and lens, I was quite happy - just need something more interesting to take pics of!

I have just posted a few more photos taken at LBA today - again, all the usual aircraft but including the SAS CRJ900 arriving and departing to Copenhagen.

Great pictures White Heather and it's good to see the SAS!!!

Excellent photo's White Heather, especially seeing as you're just getting used to your new toy. :hatsoff:

I look forwards to seeing the next batch.

I must say the pictures on here are fantastic!
I was just wondering, does anybody post regular pictures to any websites, Instagram or forums?
and if so which websites?
I love seeing regular updated pictures of the airport and wondering if anybody could recommend anywhere to find these!
Thanks

Not always immediately obvious to everyone so in case you weren't aware we have our own photography gallery where people can upload their aviation pictures directly to Forums4airports.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
