It appears on the LBA website, but is showing operated by Sun Air of Scandinavian .
I’d ignore that but it happens commonly. It happens a lot when there is charters. but this flight is being operated by an easyjet plane so hopefully they will change that soon.
Anyone know what the loads are like for the new easyjet flights and what advertising has been done to promote these flights as not seen anything about?
There’s lots of News-articles that have advertised it such as Leeds live and Yorkshire post among others but can’t remember off the top of my head and if they have got it right or are misleading I don’t know. Leeds/Bradfords social media have advertised it to on Twitter and I’m guessing it will be on their other platforms such as Facebook if they use other platforms. Loads wise I’m unsure but hopefully are decent.

I guess atm with all the travel restrictions for flying abroad an easyjet trip across to belfast would be a nice break away, belfast has quite a nice cc from what i remember

I will try to explain. The LBA website operates on the ICAO(two digit code for the airline), which for Easyjet should be U2.. Someone has entered the IATA(3 letter code) for Easyjet onto the system, which is EZY. The ICAO 2 letter code for SunAir is EZ so the software has just picked up those two letters and assumed it is Sun Air operating the flight. Complicated but I hope it makes sense.

Well this is disappointing. I was hoping to be on one of there lovely little Dornier jets!

Sounds a decent load considering the times / short time to sell.. keep it up and hope it gets better!

further to this, it would be interesting to see what EMA loads are like on this - as that starts tomorrow, admittedly better timings I would personally say

Thanks for your explanation it makes sense to me.

it appears they have changed it to easyJet having just looked on the arrivals board on website.

it now says “easyjet airline company limited”

Yes, sorry home now and just uploading photos.

I went over to BHD earlier on the BACF flight and then back on the inaugural EasyJet flight. Got the airport bus in to the Europa bus centre (£2.60), frequency is only every 30 mins atm, and then airport bus from Europa to BFS (£8) again only every 30 mins currently. I have never been to BFS before, it is miles out of Belfast in contrast to city airport. The bus took around 50 minutes to get there. I have to say I prefer city airport.

Sadly absolutely no mention on the flight that it was an inaugural one. As noted the flight was pretty full which is impressive for the first day. Inevitably I was sat next to a hen party ;)

Nothing on arrival at LBA so no water salute. I assume the little video above was after everyone had got off and before boarding the return.

We parked on stand 9 or 10 I think. Walk in to the terminal and exited out of the smaller domestic baggage hall.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
