I see that PIA is leasing out A330-300s from Sri Lankan:

'SriLankan leases an A330 to PIA:Airbus A330 -343 1604 4R-ALN SriLankan Airlines ferried 06aug16 CMB-KHI on wet-lease to Pakistan International ex F-WWCP Two more to follow.'

Perhaps we'll see one here?

The first one is to be based in London doing Islamabad and Lahore. Maybe we'll see the others though in the future.

It could also give them scope to restart LBA which was only ever suspended, an A330 maybe better suited than a 772?

As far as I know, it's been stipulated these aircraft must be UK based and operate from the UK only, so, could all be London flights but some could work their way into the regions.

Maybe there is scope to base one at MAN and do LBA flights on a W pattern. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I think MAN requires the volume rather than premier service, so, probably stick the B777 fleet for MAN flights

BHX is amongst the destinations being considered for Premium routes. The premier services are planned to operate once the next two A330s are delivered.

PIA have struggled to get above 4x weekly with the 777, maybe an A330 or 787 could be the key to a higher frequency.

Aren't the 777 usually filled, with a decent 80-90% pax figure? But as mentioned an A330 might be better for them.

In fact id say that PIA have a very strong relationship with BHX, especially as it has been reported that PIA will be launching there Premier service hopefully in 2017 on board there A330 aircraft.
