They do have A330s. It says so in ' About us' on their website. Google IPS Airways. Quite professional and it shows their only destinations as Lahore, Islamabad, Leeds Bradford and East Midlands.
Just had a look, yes its all there, numerous sites and links with plenty of info. Director is a mr ansar ali, born 1960 and the offices are in west drayton, Interesting!

Hopefully soon we will hear more about this. But sounds exiting that they’re looking at flying to 2 destinations in Pakistan rather than just Islamabad when PIA flew here.

If you dig deeper online they have actually been advertising new job vacancies too, so yes interesting times. If it comes true they will definitely need to fly into lba late morning or early eve to avoid the busy periods!

A Flybe base with a Q400 on those routes would probably suit with decent timings and of course codeshares.

As you say, especially from OSL, they'd pick up LUFC traffic for home games.
Not sure about Copenhagen but you could get to Bergen with Air UK if you changed at Edinburgh. That was at least thirty years ago.

Pretty sure it was Air UK and direct using F27

Just had it confirmed to me this eve by the operators of IPS airways that the flights will be happening, I've just asked them when they will be a confirmed announcement so will see what comes back. First flight from EMA is 20th june.
Great news. I assume LBA will be starting near enough the same time as EMA?

Well could IPS Airways be using the Airbus A330-200, JY-JVB leased from Jordan Aviation?
The said aircraft is currently leased by PIA to operate it's charter flight programme to BHX/CDG/LHR & MAN but I hear the contract ends very soon.

Adding to this, It's reported that PIA are actively looking for replacement leased aircraft operate it's charter flights from June to November 2022.

It just seems strange that we are only 3 or 4 weeks away and they has been no announcement, but yet I've noticed there is a direct number for booking flights, i wonder if the independent travel agents in say bradford and other asian communities are aware of this new service and are booking people onto the flights?
Regards the A330 the jigsaw pieces do seem to be coming together on that one. Also at EMA due to runway length and been a major freight hub you would get heavier loads out of there, although good loads out of LBA would not be an issue as the aircraft would not be fully fuelled plus the A330 has good performance on shorter runways.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
