I must say though that in the video I saw, ISB looked amazing. Almost brand new terminal. The A330 was 15 years old, ex Air Europe, but looked smart inside and out. The in flight service was none existent but it was a domestic flight.
Judging by the description on the IPS website Pakistan is paradise!

I think their other 2 A330s are ex KLM/Shaheen.

Re the consultative committee meeting, let's hope the terminal extension plans feature!
It's on the agenda. Unfortunately, the meeting is on Teams which I hate even when it works. It's like having a meeting on the Muppet Show. It also means no demos showing the revised plans this time. It seems that the usual meeting room is being refurbished. Not before time but with meetings only every 3 months, it's disappointing that they are doing it now. Assuming the Teams App works and allows me to log on using my phone, I will report back as usual on Wednesday evening.

Just had a nosey at the IPS Airways website, and it says on there that they provide passengers with a free Covid kit, presumably a mask etc. This has an asterisk next to it, and underneath, adjacent to the asterisk it states 'from 16th July'.

So either the flights start earlier but with no free kit until 16th July, or the flights start 16th July with a free kit from the outset. Who knows?!

To be fair it is consistent to how the Pakistani community tend to run flights to Pakistan. I'm not saying it will definitely happen but I'm thinking things will come together probably last minute. It just tends to be how they do things.
Exactly it would not surprise me if numerous travel agents across bradford and elsewhere are selling these flights atm, they then perhaps get in contact with meem for their small profit for each seat sale. Alot of money and buisness moves around within the asian community.

Its really strange that there have been no rumours or confirmations from the airport, handling agents or anyone else at LBA. I know official announcements can come quite late but the preparation required starts earlier so you would think by now lots of people would be aware.

I think lots of airport people are aware of a potential forthcoming ISB route, but nobody seems to know who, or with what, or from when.

Tell you what guys, if nothing happens on the 18th june its the walk of shame for me, i will be certainly hiding in a corner. Haha meem travel did confirm flights with me so im banking on that.
I wonder if Meem are still telling customers the 18th of June.

I think that it was posted on here some time ago the staff at LBA were going to have some people from Serviceair at MAN coming across to show the Leeds staff how to deal with the containers for a wide body jet.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
