My only conclusion is that maybe because you have to book through a private travel agency this is the reason no press announcement has been made by the airport, also if you key into say a google search "flights from leeds to islamabad" or similar, it brings nothing up about IPS. The likes of jet2, tui are mainstream so naturally you get large press releases with access to booking those flights and not just through their direct official sites.
Thats my best guess or its all one big professional fake, its certainly a puzzler!

Part of me thinks its an elaborate scam to separate unwitting travellers from their cash.

Its not a scam. I have it from several sources that Swissport have been asked to handle a Jordan Aviation A330 and they are now equipped to do so. If it is a scam, then Jordan Aviation and Swissport are also victims.
Well I did say its only 'part' of me. Im keeping next Saturday PM free in any case.

The first inbound to LBA with pax is the 9th. It's a positioning flight in on the 6th. Outbound pax only. Odd, but true.
Do we have we have up to date confirmation of when first flight operates to EMA? Thinking if its before ours we will have some kind of confirmation that LBA is going to happen.

I have it on good authority that hundreds of enthusiasts are already gathering to secure the best spots to view its arrival. When I say hundreds I actually mean LBA Yorkie and LBA4EVER who have conveniently pitched their tents alongside the Multiflight Cafe!

Im pitching in cemetery!

Of the two A330’s Jordan Aviation operate one is in daily use on the Islamabad/Birmingham, Doncaster routes (19 hour round trip so no capacity to do the proposed Leeds/EMA rotations) whilst the other hasn’t flown for 9 months and appears to be currently stored in Istanbul. Don’t know how long it takes to get an aircraft in storage for that long ready for service but if this is the one they’re going to use they’ll need to get a move on!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
