It's not that good. It's a copy of the T&A article with extras, and it contains the same inaccuracies, such as claiming that the IPS flights would have been the first ever link from LBA to Pakistan, and that the East Midlands flights has been scrapped in favour of LBA only. They are still showing East Midlands as a destination on their website.

The writer freely admits the source was the T&A. Yet another lazy journalist who can't be bothered to do research or check facts so the same falsehoods just get recycled.

Apart from that it was ok!

But just not upto your standard WH haha
They need to use us for accurate information.

Most of the media could use us for more accurate info on anything - even things we know nothing about! But aviation does seem to be a huge magnet for unfair and inaccurate reporting

On the subject of wizz air, this vids going around atm, if they touch down this early then our longer runway than skiathos will have no issues! Those folk really are just a few feet away from been hit by them wheels!

Well one inaccuracy I see is that they say Lahore is planned to be served when infact it’s just Islamabad.

And also that the flights have been dropped completely (for the time being)

Also that they had dropped EMA in favour of LBA only, which appears to be untrue. EMA flights were scheduled to commence on 7th August. EMA also still shows as a destination on their website, or still did a few days after all flights were cancelled.

I have read the article 3 times now and I still fail to see where it says that IPS would be the first ever direct link between LBA and Pakistan. I may have missed it 3 times but, on the basis of accuracy, maybe you could enlighten me as to where it says that.

I have read it several times previously so not going to read it again. If it doesn't say that, then Simple Flying have amended it. I posted comments correcting them within a couple of hours of them publishing and giving them details if the previous operators.

So I've done some digging around on Companies House. It's a UK database of all UK registered companies and directors. IPS Airways as a company was only created on 2nd July 2021, what's interesting is they have recorded the nature of their business as. 1) Non-scheduled passenger air transport, 2) Cargo handling for air transport activities. What's really interesting, and one that should sound alarm bells is that only 2 directors are listed for this company, the boss is Ansar Ali, and his 31-year-old daughter Hera. The problem here is Ansar Ali has ZERO aviation transport business experience, his last directorship for a company was at B2B RESPONSE LIMITED, which was created on 23rd October 2020....and suprise suprise, that company ceased on 2nd November 2021 - according to Companies House, the nature of that business was 1) Temporary employment agency activities, 2) Private security activities and 3) General cleaning of buildings. LINK Everything about these guys screams take caution.

I suggest a good plan for Ansar ali would be to communicate with numerous members on F4A! I can certainly think of a few members on here that could help steer IPS the correct way forwards due to the wide knowledge and clever minds we have on here, to not have an aircraft or a CAA licence is laughable!
Seriously though i do hope something comes of IPS, demand is there as proven in past times.

After the recent fiasco, I really doubt CAA will issue a licence to IPS. The financial requirements for CAA approval are significant and I doubt they can meet those requirements. It seems they were selling seats for flights when CAA had not even heard of them. I think we should draw a line under this operation.

Do we know whether refunds have been honoured?

I don't have enough knowledge so far as CAA licences are concerned but my take on IPS and what they were planning to do is similar to what former Leeds based Sunseeker Leisure tried to do. ie. Dry leased operation from an aircraft leasing company that DOES have legitimate operational licences. "X airlines" operates all proposed flights with IPS Airways decals. I am sure if Sunseeker Leisure had been more successful it would have enabled them to operate their own aircraft eventually. Perhaps somebody who understands how leasing works might be able to offer some clarity on this?

You can see why both LBA and EMA put out no press releases on the IPS service and why they kept very quiet on the matter, imagine how the anti LBA media would of reacted!
