ridgeback: Thankfully the low cost airlines like jet2 allow me to by pass the huge cost of my medical insurance. paying on average £200 return to malaga, could fly out every month, and still would not bridge the extra insurance cost of moving from 28 days to 42 days cover.
One advantage of having to come back every month, is that I dont have to have a house sitter any more. Most house insurance becomes invalid if your away for more then 30 days, dont have this issue anymore.
As I am in the David Bellamy school of thought on climate change, feel it unfortunate that our BBC, which should remain neutral, bans him for his views, dont view my foot print to be an issue.
