Primera Air really are going to town with there promotions. They are everywhere around the city. Great to see. I might send them a message about the upcoming British/American conference in Brum, they could get some serious business from this. I want people coming to Birmingham to fly into Birmingham not another cities airport. I'm sure Paul kehoe will let the airport know as he is involved in this conference.

Great advert for Primera Air. If people didn't know about them they will now.

Has Jet2 run an advert with them yet?

I've not seen or heard of a Jet2 ad in the Metro (which doesn't necessarily mean that there wasn't one) but they pretty much took over Central Birmingham in the run up to their launch. You couldn't turn a corner without seeing Jet2 Holidays plastered over every available advertising space 🙂

Their advertising look to have been turned down a few notches but it's still ongoing.

Jet2 has advertised their BHX services with a full-page advert in the West Country edition of Metro (a couple of weeks or so ago). I don't think that Primera published the wrap-around advert mentioned in the preceding posts in the West Country edition though.

Good to see that the general press release/news section has at last come back to life. There has been 6 postings in January which compares very favourably against prior month of just the 1 in December , then it couldn't fail to be better ! Prior months were running at 6 or 7 ( November 6, October 7) so back to recent average.
It shouldn't be that difficult to find or create some positive news stories

I noticed a TUi ad on the side of the 97 bus yesterday, something along the lines of The American Dream without the long drive, Florida Holidays from Birmingham Airport.

It didn't mention that it's only weekly on a Thursday, which is useless if your kids break up on a Friday :banghead:

Once the horrid 'West Midlands' name has gone forever we really need to work on the 'more miles of canals than Venice' 🙄

Some nice advertising from Blue Air 🙂

Did you know that #Birmingham has more canals than #Venice with 56 km of waterways?

Travel to the city with one of the largest urban parks in #Europe outside a capital city: Sutton Park.

It's good to see decent advertising by Blue Air who seem to have done some proper research and hats off to Air India today also.

Living outside of the region, it's difficult for me to keep up the ongoing adverts. Are Primera Air still pushing BHX-EWR and BHX-YYZ, or has that now all gone flat?
Hopefully, I'll be visiting Birmingham in the next few days - I love the place!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
