Goldman Sachs to take space in 55 Colmore Row to establish a presence but will eventually move to their own permanent premises.

Wall Street titan Goldman Sachs unveils new Birmingham office

The office will initially hold 150 employees - mainly local hires - and Goldman has an option to add more capacity if needed. The move is a major boost for the Government's 'levelling up' agenda.

Very impressive video of a very impressive city. We shall have to pay a visit when life begins to get back to normal. I've passed through Birmingham many times on the train and also on the motorway, albeit the latter doesn't really give much idea of the main part of the city.

A while back we registered for tickets to the Commonwealth Games and the priority ballot is on Wednesday for West Midlands residents so fingers crossed we get something you can select your preference my wife selected athletics, swimming and gymnastics I selected beach volleyball, beach volleyball and beach volleyball.

Seriously though we hope for anything, wifey has also registered for voluntary work, me I'll be the taxi driver if it comes to anything.

I seem to have uncovered a pair of hecklers I was going to say knockers but decided not to !!!

Applied for tickets in the ballot for the athletics, swimming, gymnastics and after deep discussion with the boss the T20 cricket which was my first choice really along with the athletics but to be honest anything will do for the experience.

The draw is in August followed by the main draw in September.

I am here to correct you Madame Jenny, there are 2 high rise blocks opposite Edgbaston Cricket ground so it won't be alone
