Is it me (quite possibly) or have we got off quite lightly weather wise overall so far this winter?

Oct and upto mid November was pretty mild with quite settled weather then a 2 week cold snap. For the next few weeks its looking like westerly winds so expect wind and rain. Thats everything from the weather centre today

G-DRTC seems to have gone tech at Fuerteventura after operating the outbound LS403. Tenerife-based rescue aircraft G-DRTM positioned in from Tenerife and is operating the return LS404, due to arrive around 22:20, a 3.5 hour delay

Based on my rather poor memory I would say November is normally the worst month for diversions, especially due to fog, but this November we've hardly had any. Having said this it usually evens itself out over the year.

Yes, November and February are the usual fog months. These days, its wind that is the more frequent weather issue though wind diverts haven't been very frequent either this year. No doubt the friends of DSA will be able to tell us exactly how many diverts we have had , the aircraft, and date.

I wondered why the LBA website is showing multiple Berlin departures.

Thats the one we had to disembark and change planes early November due to an elecrtical fault to the galley.

I was wondering why I found EXS471D when I went onto Flightradar. Seems to have departed 18:11 - a 2h51m delay

I think something else went tech earlier in the day (though I can't quite figure out what). LS223 operated with a 2 hour delay and went off stand 19 with G-JZHH
