There has been server issues for multiple companies today, something linked to Amazon, so that may be part of it. In addition, if they are working on their back system to add new schedules it may show/disappear until the final uplift is done, we see that with other companies where it can take a day or so. Or maybe it has just gone lol 😂🤔

Wouldnt surprise me if they told the IT dept they were starting flights to Leeds and forgot to tell them when the idea was dropped.
Nobody is confirming its dropped. I know people who still believe its going to happen and they are in a better position to know than most of us. Its not unusual. How many times have Ryanair loaded, unloaded then loaded flights up again with members on here bemoaning the loss of a route that we never actually lost?

Worth noting also that's its not just LBA that's disappeared from the drop down menu. Sofia has too, so time will tell whether it's significant that the two European routes planned, have both 'disappeared', whether temporarily or permanently.

Yes I agree that seanm1997 is very accurate as indeed he is here. It is what the Pakistani officials and the British High Commissioner have said. The Minister of Aviation has also said that US is a priority, as are Spain and Italy. At the moment these statements must be fantasy and some of the comments clearly made for political reasons. But absolutely no harm done.

@LBAYORKIE Yet Mullion was talking about his colleagues, who are customers not pilots. BCFC replied they were “sensible” people and you then said “Because they can get a drink on those carriers!” Note you replied they, not the pilot.

Mullion reiterated his colleagues don’t drink.
BCFC then randomly references his local shop and Pakistani lads being the main customer- not sure how or why this is relevant to an aviation forum, or indeed why it is relevant at all. again no reference to the pilot.

You then reply to Mullion with “yeah!” Suggesting you don’t believe his colleagues don’t drink, and Finger66 then replies to the same Mullion comment - “yeah when it suits” Any pilot reference? No! There isn’t.

The conversation was never about the Pakistani pilot, let’s not pretend it was.

Hello everyone,

This discussion is drifting away from its original purpose, which is to discuss matters related to Air Blue. Please ensure your contributions are relevant to the thread.

Conversations about personal topics, such as alcohol consumption, are not suitable here. Kindly take such discussions to Direct Messages if you wish to continue them.

Thanks for your understanding.

Reports of PIA going to 3 weekly (from the current 2) from 11Dec on ISB-MAN. Possibly more ground being lost for LBA and Air Blue? That's if there was any sort of solid ground there in the first place.
All that said we know the size of the market here and how LBA co-existed alongside MAN previously so still room for optimism

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
