Yes, its disappeared off the destinations list within the last hour. I was only looking st it at 1315 and now its gone. The big question is, will it come back?Just checked the website, LBA is now not showing again.
Nobody is confirming its dropped. I know people who still believe its going to happen and they are in a better position to know than most of us. Its not unusual. How many times have Ryanair loaded, unloaded then loaded flights up again with members on here bemoaning the loss of a route that we never actually lost?Wouldnt surprise me if they told the IT dept they were starting flights to Leeds and forgot to tell them when the idea was dropped.
Sean M is very rarely wrong.I somehow doubt it. The original piece sounds very much like a political statement rather than realistic options.
Tbf to SeanM1997 he is well informed but I do think he is quoting what's been said in the article by i believe the Pakistani High Commissioner.Sean M is very rarely wrong.
Its a huge market of which LBA sits right next to a big percentage of that market, with the correct aircraft types the airport could be onto a winner! There are around 2 million people living in the Pakistani community in the UK (most are in England) so the market is there waiting to be harvested.
Sensible people!I have several Pakistanis at work and all have said they will never fly with a Pakistani airline again and prefer Emirates or Etihad
