That might explain the low flypast of a red arrows hawk. There’s was also an A400 planned to show up but sadly didn’t in the end.LBA is 91 years old today. Happy birthday LBA!

Course they’re better, they are less busy so invariably easier to use. This is the problem with the media, quiet airports with no queues don’t necessarily provide well financially for the owners, which is the fundamental problem that absolutely nobody except for Peel ever seems to consider.DSA was fearured on the steven and anne show on GB news this morning, apparently they will be around 1000 members of the public marching to try keep the airport open, The issue is now as we know all the airlines have already moved out of DSA which is obviously good for our airport but bad for donny. LBA actually got a positive review by presenter steve commenting on how regional airports are so much better compared to say MAN.
Visit this thread:PIA are hoping to get their ban to flying to Europe lifted at a meeting in brussels this week
Goods news for PIA but given PIA stopped flights to LBA before the ban I don't think it improves prospects for a resumption of flights to LBA.Visit this thread:

Thank you @aviatellc for posting that report which is highly enlightening, if only to show the confusion that seems to have occurred. Also welcome to F4A and we look forward to many other post from you in due course.forums4airports.com
I don't think so. If you remember they said they were switching to a 777 and then just walked away from the airport.Wasn’t it just a suspension due to lack of a replacement aircraft for the A310?
It was announced at the time as a suspension of the route, and for some time after LBA remained on their booking engine. That was 2014! As suspensions go, it's rather a long one!!I don't think so. If you remember they said they were switching to a 777 and then just walked away from the airport.
Thank god having Leeds in our airport name doesnt at least mean we are down in 20th place!I wouldn't mind betting that if you looked at the last 6 months only, LBA will have been promoted from 14th place.
It could be far worse..Having Bradford in the name could have condemned us to the lower league of airports rather than the top 20!Thank god having Leeds in our airport name doesnt at least mean we are down in 20th place!
Good comeback! It could be far worse..Having Bradford in the name could have condemned us to the lower league.of airports.rather than the top 20!
