Use this prefix for new threads for Leeds Bradford Airport
If this doesn't come to anything ...

I'll say this again. We need Turkish airlines. Hello LBA airport routes team. We, as an airport, need Turkish airlines.
I can guarantee that the LBA 'routes team' know that and want Turkish Airlines too. Wanting and getting are two different things though.

I’d be careful divulging that you’re taking info from OCS. ACL have pretty strict terms and conditions for users around confidentiality of information in that system.

I know at the airline I work for that it’s for in house use only.

For one I don’t have access to the OCS or the ACL website resources.

I just shared what I already knew. With info from other sources which will remain unnamed.

another one lured away no doubt…

Let’s hope it’s just a postponement.

I do know the Air Blue Airbus fleet has been under going a lot of maintenance recently with several aircraft out of active service. Some of the work is being done by Turkish Technic in Istanbul too.

The bigger question is-do Turkish Airlines need LBA?
A couple of years back, their CEO specifically mentioned LBA as a destination they were looking to serve.
But......a lot can change in 2 or 3 years. They seem to be growing at MAN so may just decide to let their Yorkshire passengers continue to make that God Awful treck over there and back .

It's been stated by Vincent Hodder before now that airlines are queuing up to operate to LBA once the terminal is ready. We will see! Realistically though it will be a year from now before its completed and any significant growth arising from it probably won't be until Summer 2027.

As much as we'd like to see things right away, I'd rather the airlines come when we're able to handle them otherwise they'll be off as quick as they came.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
