@HX3 I won’t be ignoring you and as I said you are entitled to your opinion and to speak your mind, as am I. That said it was blatantly obvious what you were referring to but I feel very disappointed that you didnt get the joke. I think we are all LBA for ever!!!

For information the correct etiquette for raising a concern about content is first to contact the person directly through the DM system. Failing to resolve the problem you should then report the post in question. If you consider the matter severe enough, you can do this in the first instance using the report tab under the post in question.

Over the last few days some members have resorted to using the forum threads to raise concerns about one thing or another. This must stop immediately because it's not what the forum is for as it results in unnecessary tit-for-tat.

Can't see anything starting before the winter.

They were reviewing the design last I heard but as I have said before, once they have finalised the layout (new boss, new ideas) they will need Board approval of the cost and design before going out to tender. That takes about a month at least for a project that size, and once the contractor is appointed, they have to order all the steelwork M&E equipment, such as Air Con systems etc, fittings, glass and the rest. That takes weeks too. No good starting until you have nailed down delivery dates that enable you to build the thing in accordance with the contracted schedule, otherwise you can expect to pay hefty penalties.

So, patience is required. The airport will hopefully provide an update on progress at the June Consultative Committee.

LBA has just been featured on Look North, which is usually bad news. The sound was turned off on the TV in the pub so I didn't hear what Amy Carsick was saying. Something to do with security screening queues, I think.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
