I was watching 'Secret Chef' on ITV tonight and saw an advert for Jet2. This is nothing unusual, and living just about 10 miles north of Cambridge all that I have seen have referred to Stansted. I was surprised (and delighted), to see this advert finish with 'Book from Birmingham'.

Great to see alot of our airlines and new routes being promoted. Ive got to admit but that Eurowings advert is a corker. 🙂

I've just received a Thomson themed marketing email from the airport and there is finally something about their new routes to Phuket and Goa. Unless I have missed it this is the first time that they have been promoted?

It's a start but much more is needed!

Great to see these new Thomson destinations with some marketing. Maybe they already know that these routes will be an instant success from BHX and don't need to be promoted.

But yes I quite agree, I have heard very little from the airport or TUI about these new routes.

Maybe to remind people in England and Wales that you can fly from BHX to all 3 flags direct or in direct and no need to travel from LHR or MAN ?

From my experience people need educating so well done to the BHX team.
