I think Ryanair see Wizz as vulnerable at present. If they drive them off plenty of routes, they become even more vulnerable. It wouldnt surprise me at all if Ryanair then looked to buy them.You have to look at the bigger picture. Wizz has a new boss who has been tasked with offloading loss making routes and turning the airline round. Just because Wizz has dropped routes from LBA doesn't means DSA would have kept them. Things have changed, Ryanair is also trying to muscle in on Wizz routes, not just from LBA but from other airports too which will impact Wizz. All we can do is hope that if Ryanair wins the don't offload the flights if Wizz has backs down.
