Well I'm booked onto the New Sun Express service from Leeds to Antalya in June & back 2 weeks later July next summer 2024.

According to Aero Routes website it looks like Sun Express are using there brand new Boeing 737-MAX8 aircraft on the Antalya - Leeds/Bradford route next summer 2024 instead of the Boeing 737-800.

It would seem Sun Express have added 3 more one-stop connections from Leeds via Antalya along with the already mentioned (DXB) Dubai & (TBS) Tbilisi

(ADA) Adana, (DIY) Diyarbakir & (ADB) Izmir

Oh I booked my airport check-in & pre allocated seats a few weeks back as I'm using the new Leeds - Antalya route this summer. I can confirm the seating config shows Boeing 737-MAX8 as I've booked seats 35D/E/F Out on June 21st & return July 5th.

As we have family living in Dubai the Sun Express flight looks as though it could be a good option rather than using KLM via Schiphol over over the hill to MAN. Well it did until I tried to book a flight to see the cost. OK booking an outbound flight 12.15pm departure from Leeds but nowhere on their website could I book a return flight, unless of course I was doing something fundamentally wrong. This needs to be looked at and quickly addressed by Sun Express if from my experience the return leg is missing off the booking platform.

We find this a lot in the industry as a whole tbh. Where daily or multiple daily frequencies don't exist you can connect one way but not the other, at least not without a ridiculously long (or overnight) connection. Not ideal!

Absolutely not but we all know the spin, especially LCCs, put on on things for their own gain

Not sure if it's been posted or noticed by anyone already.

But it looks like Sun Express are starting their Leeds - Antalya service a week earlier than planned on Sunday, March 24th using a Boeing 737-800 instead of March 31st 2024.

So the good news keeps coming. Yes it’s only a small increase but we know what the blue, white and red supermarket slogan says!

Good point @Seasider. Should be a good way to get the route off to a flying start though and it could be due to high demand. After all it's only about 6 weeks away now so not huge lead in time

Sun Express have now extended the operating season of there new Antalya - Leeds/Bradford service with flights now operating from late October and running into November using the Boeing 737-800's instead of the Boeing 737-MAX8's that are been used during the summer season.

SXS560 AYT 08:25 - LBA 10:15 / SXS561 = LBA 11:15 - AYT 18:40

These extra flights operate on the following dates. October - Sun 27th, Wed 30th & November - Fri 1st, Sun 3rd, Wed 6th & Sun 10th
