I can't believe we've not had an Orlando flight since 1996. :s_omg

White Heather said:I seem to recall they were under maintenance at Multiflight. I wondered at the time if any of them were the ex Capital Airlines machines (360 300's) that were, of course, based at LBA in the 1980s until they ceased operations. I am fairly sure that their 360s went to Phillippines Airlines.

White Heather it wont have been Multiflight's Hangar when them Phillippines Airlines Shorts 360's were parked up. I'm sure back then the smaller hangar belonged to Lambson Aviation after they acquired the assests of Capital Airlines and its Northair subsidiary when they went bust. Eventually Lambson Aviation went on to set up its own Leeds based airline Yorkshire European Airways which after a short few years became Knight Air using a fleet of 5 Embraer 110 Bandeirantes. Meanwhile the larger hangar was owned by Yorkshire Light.
