Looking at the Sun Express website, The is currently 8+ pax booked seats on the first inbound.

And I think that’s really good because ultimately it’s a positioning flight that now earns a bit of revenue. Easy flight for the cabin crew and the few pax will probably get quite attentive service. Very promising start for Sun Express

Next service is this Sunday and then ramps up to twice weekly in April and then thrice weekly in May

Looks like Sun Express are really going after Jet2’s customers. Maybe routes to both Izmir and Dalaman could be on the cards from Leeds/Bradford next

I'd like to see more from Sun Express, x3 weekly is a good frequency but hoping 2025 we can get more to AYT. DLM would be the next obvious choice. seems like they're in bed with TUI / On the beach / Love Holidays, which is good way to fill there planes. Hopefully 2025 flights maybe on sale soon?

All hinges on Boeing getting the Max delivery schedule back on track but I’m hopeful we’ll see incremental expansion from XQ at LBA.

The Turkish riviera is booming and Sun express know they’re onto a winner especially at AYT! I was down there a few months ago when one of our neo’s was sick, the amount of expansion going on at the airport was ridiculous, brand new terminal, expansions to the existing two terminals, 60+ new parking stands, taxiways here there and everywhere, also looked like the beginnings of a hangar/cargo complex going up.

Fair to say AYT airport is gearing up for major future operations, I’m sure our little airport on the hill can be apart of their success.

I've just updated my app and it doesn't look like a new image. Are you referring to an online version?

I don' know Antalya at all but the airport certainly looks much different, in terms of expansion, to old image showing in Google Maps. Google Earth says that it is a new version so it may well be so and Google Maps is an old version. Can't see any date on Google Earth so I don't really know but maybe the App is based on the Maps.

I used google earth through my desktop. I’ve also checked google earth on my phone and the images are the same showing all the freshly laid concrete stands, taxiways, rapid exits to the runways and terminals under construction.
