And a ford sierra, ford escort and possibly an early vw passat in the pic! Haha
The information for the photo claimed it was taken in 1985. fair enough if it is wrong. again must have been mislaeading imformation.Shame the caption on the photo is wrong. The first Wardair was 4th November 1984 but the following summer season was cancelled, so the 2nd Wardair wasn't until early May 1996. There wasn't one during 1985.
Looks like the three of them are tied together too! Hope none of them braked suddenly! And a ford sierra, ford escort and possibly an early vw passat in the pic! Haha
It's fine, I have seen that pic before showing the wrong year. It's as well that the 1985 season was cancelled really, or LBA would have had to cope with the Wardair 747 and British Airtours TriStar on the ground together. That would have been fun and games in the baggage reclaim area. The information for the photo claimed it was taken in 1985. fair enough if it is wrong. again must have been mislaeading imformation.
The ford escort driver must of slowed down to check out the 747 causing a hold up, if i saw a 747 passing over the tunnel id be the same tut tut back in the days when we had simple, non computerised cars.Looks like the three of them are tied together too! Hope none of them braked suddenly!
Indeed, carburettors, distributors and manual chokes and the like! The ford escort driver must of slowed down to check out the 747 causing a hold up, if i saw a 747 passing over the tunnel id be the same tut tut back in the days when we had simple, non computerised cars.
Thanks ‘Concorde LBA‘, great picture of the original 1968 constructed check-in desks taken around 1980/1. Even Mrs B Holidays makes an appearance in her Servisair uniform.T+A have released this.
Look back: Checking in at 'Yeadon Airport'
THIS week’s easing of restrictions has freed up some overseas travel destinations.www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk
This may sound as an unusual request. dose anyone have any close up / detailed shots of either Capital Airlines BAe 146-200's G-OSUN or G-OSKI?

If so they could prove very useful for me in the design detail, because as I've just purchased a made to order "17" inch model of G-OSUN from PlaneArts. Its an exclusive one of a kind model being handmade out of solid kiln dried mahogany wood, so I want to get the finer details accurately as possible. I promise to share a few pictures on here once its delivered in around 10 weeks time.
Thankyou in advance
